Maureen was a CAREGiver at Home Instead Basildon. Sadly, Maureen passed away in November. Loraine from Basildon shares Maureen’s story, and how she brought love and peace of mind to so many.
Maureen rang Home Instead Basildon enquiring to become a CAREGiver in November 2014. She said she was a bit unsure calling because of her age as she thought we would think she was too old to become a CAREGiver. We said, “Not at all, its not age that makes a good CAREGiver, it’s the person themselves.”
Maureen attended training and started her journey as a CAREGiver on January 2015. She never looked back. She was amazing. She built great relationships with her clients and their families. Maureen looked on Home Instead as her extended family.
Sadly, Maureen passed away in November.
It was an absolute pleasure to have known Maureen and she will most certainly be missed by all.
Bring Joy Foundation would like to thank the Home Instead Basildon office for their kind donation in memory of Maureen. The donation will help charities and community groups bring joy to older people in Maureen’s memory.
